WELCOME FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Greetings View Park Family,

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! My name is Mr. John Sims, and I am honored and privileged to serve as the Principal of View Park Continuation High School. We are part of the VAEOS (Virtual Academy and Educational Options Schools) community of schools in Region South and will unapologetically serve the students in our community.

I am excited about this upcoming school year at VPCHS. I look forward to building continuous relationships with staff, students, families, and community members. My goal as Principal of View Park is to guide and support our staff and students to reach their highest potential in a safe and nurturing environment. We will begin this school year with tons of support and guidance from VAEOS and Region South. We will be writing across the curriculum in all subjects with an additional emphasis on reading comprehension and Algebraic thinking. All students will receive an electronic device and can participate in high-dosage tutoring 24/7 on demand.
